boost gauge

hey guys im new to the site and new to cobalts as well. just bought a 06 cobalt and the boost gauge lights up but just sits at like 6 or 7 vac, doesnt move. my question is where is the vac line located on the car so i can check and see if its unhooked. pics would be great too haha

okay i found the vac line, its the one that runs on top of the manifold right? into the boost bypass selonid? the problem im having is the gague doesnt work, it lights up, but doesnt read vac or boost just sits at -7 vac. any help would be great.

The guage itself is bad, you just need to put a new guage in. It is pretty common to see those guages fail.

Go to a mechanical gauge don't stay with the.eletrical gauges.

More than likely, yes. I went through two of them in 5 years when I had my LSJ.
