is boss audio a good company? do they have good subs and amps and are they worth buying?

Not great...

I think they used to manufacture the Urban Audio Works line.

I just took a look at their site, and it LOOKS like their build quality has improved, but I have no personal experience short of the poor ones I have from early High School. (94)

They have some excellent video products for the price.
