Box Depth
I was wondering if box depth affects overall sound. The reason I was wondering is because I'm trying to build a box with little depth without compromising sub spec requirements. Basically will you get the same sound from a box with 10 inches of depth compared to 15? This is a ported box by the way.

as long as the airspace is the same it doesn't matter. there's going to be slight differences if you do some crazy shapes and nonsense but anything close to normal isn't going to matter. Also if your subs have a pole vent (hole in the bottom of the motor) you want to leave some space behind the sub.

Hmm
The box specs im planning on using for a box tuned to 33Hz with 1.2cu inches for a 10 inch fi Q are 24.125"(w) x 10"(d) x 15.875"(h). I was just curious as well, does anybody have any decent amp ideas for this sub? I was looking at either the sundown 1000D, the US Amps MD-1D, and I also hear audison makes decent amps. I'm open to any ideas.
