cant get hid fogs to fire up

cant get hid fogs to fire up

Plugged in right. They turn on, buzz and shut off. Idgi. Any idears

i had a similar issue like this but my fix was replacing the bulbs. dunno yours

swap the ballasts side to side.

figured it out. bad bulb. switched sides, ballasts, bulbs, every possible combination. was one bulb. gonna order a set from a local friend today. maybe get em in in the next day or two.

its almost as if there isnt enough power to fire up both ballasts all the time with my fog setup. im thinking of ditching it for the halogen yellow bulbs.

what you mean? I thought about yellow halogens as well.

i mean sometimes both my fogs will fire up fine, and sometimes the pass side will just flash and turn off while drivers stays on. as if there isnt enough power to power up both ballasts at once.

im going to be putting some electrical grease in all the connections next spring when my car comes out of storage, if that doesnt fix it, buying halogen yellows.

my hids in my cavalier used to do that, id flick them off and back on and itd be good

5ks I believe. Theyre really not that blue in person. The camera on my cellphone didnt like the light shining right at it and has seemed to change color on both lights for this picture.
