No ones even mentioned the fact that a true cellular wireless card is needed to get it on the internet.
Whats the point of a computer unless its online, store music, play music and movies? All of that can be done with a Touchscreen HU as already mentioned.
Have you seen the monthly cost of a wireless card?
Depending on the plan, $50 - $100
Go with the Kenwood, save your money and blood preasure

If you got that kinda money to spend on a HU then I'd go with the Eclipse.
Theres one model with a 30gb HD (Nav system is on the HD) and another hat has 2 DVD drives. Both make it possible for the Nav sytem to work while you play music, some don't allow this so becarefull when picking one.
I'm not to sure if the Kennwood has this option but I think it does, in anycase just because 1 guy had an issue with it does not mean there all crap. Maybe he installed his wrong. Maybe along time ago the Kenwood company did something really evil to him or his family and now he's getting even (Kidding, just wanted to see if you were still paying attention)

honestly kenwood dis have isssues when they were first released but those units were recalled. also you have to think of what can go wrong in the installation. with that being said I really like the kenwood because of its features and most importantly its menu and controls. but that's just me. get what you want/ like because a 1500 dollar unit should make you happy. also take what you hear online with a grain of salt. as I've learned nothing is really sacred. the install means far more then what people assume. a good stereo is like finding a good exhasust. look around and try and see/hear/feel what you can otherwise you may take some other douchebags advice and get a fart cannon
