cb radio

any one attempted to put on in these cars? im thinking getting a cobra cb for the roadtrip across country.

want to, i think u need a liscense or training with one to legally have it though

you do not need to have a license or training.

back in the 80's you did though

is the space between the radio and a/c controls just like an open space or is there something behind the cover (kinda looks like a tape deck)

agreed. your not allowed to use a cb without a handle. and you need to know the lingo

im useing a temp setup untill i find the perfict spot for my radio im thinking about upgradeing my cb radio to a hideaway radio that would be in the trunk and uses the mic as controler on it.

currently i have my radio next to my pass seat area huging the console power wires and antenna are running behind the back seat getting power from battery with a inline fuse to protect radio and battery

u do not need license or handle to operate a cb radio atleast i dont in missouri and ive been pulled over by highway patrol and they seen and herd my cb radio on and diddnt mention anything about it

anyways i have one in my cobalt with a magnatic mount antenna on the trunk lid and i own a ss/sc

no pics of the setup cause its temporary aka velcrow i can take pics if u want the radio is older i can get the model number and stuff if u want
