Cobalt XM stereo question

Aight hows it going?

Im Knightmare (Matt) and I'm new here obviously anyway I just purchased a 2007 SS Cobalt yesterday and it came with the whole XM schpelle However in my Suburban and Ford Escape I have Sirius satellite radio (used and aftermarket kit). Is there any way to change from XM to Sirius without going aftermarket, b/c the kits look ugly and this car is nice. I know that XM and Sirius are going to eventually merge, but I can't wait 1 -2 yrs. So does anyone have a suggestion? The reason is because I like sirius and its extremely cheap to add another car then go to XM.

Are you sure that's for the 07? I know it is for the 05 and 06, but I need to know for an 07. Basically I bought an 07 without XM installed because my buddy has a factory xm tuner off of his 04 Colorado that he doesn't use. I know the factory stereo is XM ready for the 07 Cobalt and from what I am told, it should be as simple as finding the harness (which should be where the XM tuner is) plugging it in and putting an XM antenna up. I know I can buy an after market XM unit from Terk, but if I can use the factory tuner my buddy has for nothing, I'd much prefer that. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
