Coolant Fans turnon temp???
***Edit nevermind.. should have searched before... my car is fine...***
I dont know if i messed something up or not.. but i installed some HID/ballast today, and since then, i dont know if it is a coincidence with the warmer weather, but i noticed my car getting above 180* sitting in traffic... it is always usually around 180... it actually reached 202*
I brought it to the dealership and they said that the Coolant Fan turnon point is 220-230*
can that be right????

yea.... i tested it out today... didnt turn on around 180 or whatever..
but as SOON as i turned on the AC... the fans turned on promptly... i still dont know if it is fucked up or not with the percentage abover 180, because nothing turns on.

Its normal. My car always gets to 224 then goes back down to 176 when Im waiting in traffic or a long line at the track. Whenever I move to VA Beach this may sometime could you turn them on sooner for me Doc? Id greatly appreciate it, I hate seeing it say anything over 200, lol.
