Still getting all the information I can get about what HU I am going to buy. How is the Ipod interface with the d3? What do you have to do to hook up the Ipod, and once connected, does it let you select the artist,album,song, ect like the ipod does?

First off what kind of Ipod is it? Its just a data cable CD-I200 works nicely but large ipods can take some time to load. It shows you song/artist/album and also lets you serch by all those and more.

I got a couple year old 30g and a touch.

both should work but like i said it will take 3+ seconds per page to load
