Hey, I just bought the Pioneer 7" indash...model dh5700 i think. Without the Pioneer vehicle processing unit it wouldve been about $800. With the unit it was $1100. I got it at CarTunes w/ an employee discount...sometimes they give them Thurs-Sat.

Have you considered something like the AVIC-D1? They can be had for around $1k give you everything. Nav, DVD, 6.5" touchscreen, expandable for XM, rear view camera, all kinds of toys. Any thoughts for popout displays for security? Also right now there's a $300 rebate from pioneer for the AVIC-D1 or AVIC-N2 which would make them $800 and $1100 respectively, there's also a $100 rebate for the XM module.

that is the best bang for your buck for audio options. i talked to a guy i knwo about it and he pretty much told me thats the best.
its the IVA-D310
it runs for 1500 but if u went to a car audio store they could prolly hook you up. and this ons got a ton of features. i was planning on buying it but it was in first came out and was backorderd and ofcourse that ment i spent money elsehwree for my car. ( rims )
