dash problem after installing new radio

I had a problem after installing aftermarket speakers and an aftermarket head unit in my 05 cobalt LS coupe. After installing using the correct harness from crutchfield my dash does not work. The lights work but i have no gas gauge no tach no speedo and no milage. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

all fuses were fine. ABS light brake light and airbag light also stay on. blinkers work outside the car but not in the car. car starts and runs fine.

I read on here where someone else had the same problem and I believe it was because they wired it wrong. I think they tried to pull power from the GM LAN wire (which gives the stock radio the turn on command so that's were the confusion came from). When they wired it properly the problem went away. I would re-check all of your connections and remember that if you don't have a wire coming from the fuse box or elsewhere as your turn on signal you have it hooked up wrong.

Cool, Sounds like an easy and honest mistake could be the problem. Let us know.
