dedicated Ipod connection -> Diff type
Does anyone know if you can change a dedicated ipon connection on a head unit to hook to a different mp3 player? I thought when it said it had ipod connection, it was generic term for a usb port. I just bought the Alpine CDA-9884 and I was hoping to hook my sansa view mp3 player to it. I really dont want to rely on fm tuners because frankly...they just dont work.

yeah, I figured it just meant you could hook up with Ipod..since well.Ipod is very dominent in the market (so from a marketing perspective makes more sense to use Ipod in the description) but I found that the its a KCE-2311 (?) is dedicated Ipod but there was also one for KCE-236B that uses the same connection but with a audio jack so I believe that should work.
I just hate the FM tramsiter..so much static.
