Hello, I have a 05 ss/sc with onstar and xm radio. I will not be using either of those. According to the sticky thread I have to buy the metra harness 70-2103. Well, I went to bestbuy to get it and the guy told me that he doesnt know of a harness with that number. He instead told me that the metra 70-2003(one number off) is the right one and will work. I just want everybody's input as Im installing all my stuff right now. Thanks mike

P.S. How do I tap a fuse for 12v acc? I never tapped a fuse before and Im not that smart in electrical. If you can give me an idiot's guide to how to do that, it would be greatly appreciated.

get the malibu harness its like 99 cents on ebay. tap a fuse go to autozone and get the kit.

because he works at best buy and honestly doesnt give a ****.... after installing sat radio all day for ****** people just tell you whatever makes you either buy something or leave. Luckally i really never do sat radio so im not quite as pissy
