Door lock electrical problem
I have no idea what happened but I woke up one morning during winter and I couldn't lock my doors anymore from the inside, the lock buttons on the driver AND passenger side are useless. Pressing them does nothing. The unlock button does work though sometimes after pressing it several time in a row the door will lock out of the blue. Here's the best part though, sometime while I'm driving or just idling the door unlocks/locks themselves randomly. Not. Cool. Anyone ever had a problem like that before?

This could be the same issue that plagues the key fobs, the conductive rubber pads may be shot and not conducting current anymore.
Take it out and get some thick foil and use a hole punch to click out a few circles then super glue them to the pads, this should return the conductivity.

Hey guys, here's a followup on the issue with the doorlocks.
I disconnected the driver side door lock and the passenger side now works, I can lock and unlock the doors with no issues. As soon as I connect the driver side door lock nothing works anymore. It probably went bad. I will order a new one shortly.

If anyone is interested to know, I fixed the problem. The driver side door lock probably had a short in it. Changed the door lock and now everything is A1 !
