Dual Amp and Battery Setup

I have a MTX Thunder Elite 1501-D Mono block amp and a Kicker ZX350.4 four channel amp. The MTX powers my MTX Sledgehammer and the Kicker of course will be powering my door speakers. I need to know what amperage battery isolator i should use.

I have ordered a pair of Polk Audio db651 6.5" speakers for the doors. Theyre 60w RMS each.

Also have a paid of Polk db691 6x9 speakers for the rear deck. Theyre 100w RMS each.

Kicker ZX350.4 four channel amp should be here tomorrow.

Then finally i have a Kinetik KHC2000 power cell/battery that should be here today.

Should i keep my stock battery as a starting battery in my car until i can get another KHC2000 or just get rid of the stock battery and run the Kinetik?

If i do use both batteries what amperage battery isolator should i get? I was looking at a 200amp isolator but i think that would be way overkill. But its only 25 bucks.

Ive never run two amps before so if anyone can provide me a diagram of how it should all my hooked up id love you forever!

I think thats all i need right now? Thanks for any help!

OH!! and i will be upgrading my Alternator to (probably) 320a...but that wont be for a few more months.

So you would take out the stock battery and just run the Kinetik? I'll have a second Kinetik in a month. two months tops.

My biggest concern right now is what amperage isolator I should get. I want to go ahead and get one ordered so its here when I'm ready to hook everything up and I'm not having to wait.

I'm gonna be running 2 Kinetik HC2000 batteries. I don't want them to drain each other.

like someone said earlier you should be buying these around the same time for best performance. if that's the case then they will act like a single battery when placed in parallel. What a battery isolator is good for is separating the 2 batteries when the car is off. When running it is supposed to have 0 effect on the 2 batteries. So if you plan on playing the system with the car off often then a batt isolator is a good option. If not then running them in paralell no isolator and minimizing the time the system is playing with the car off is the best option.

That one kinetik battery should be enough for two amps.

It is. I'll just be replacing my starting battery with a Kinetik also. I'm overkilling the hell out of it I know. But I'd rather overrate than under rate. And I may upgrade in the future again.

17-20 is what you will need if you use the gromit by the gas pedal and follow the stock wiring
