I was told that double dins didn't fit without special brackets. An audio shop can do it if they are decent enough. Anything should fit if you get the brackets made.

That is a mighty fine unit there, most likely the best.

look for american international or metra dash kits....they'll allow you to mount it w/o a sleeve, backstrap is recommended for these though, but it's a lot of hassle.

If it's like my Avic D3 it won't fit in the dash the whole way back because the unit is deeper than the opening in the dash. No special bracket is going to fix that problem.

If you get a dremel and remove the plastic and bend the metal bracket out of the way you can get it in the dash with the metra 95-3302 kit.

People I have talked with said you can force it in there, but it needs clearance for air flow in my opinion and forcing into the dash will block the fan.

you have to remove the plastic piece in the back behind where the HU sits. Go to walmart in the hardware section and find one of these bad boys in the pic for 3 bux its about 1/8 inch thick and works absolutely perfect cuts right through it. As for the Pioneer I LOVE pioneer but went with the Kenwood DNX7100 because it doesn't require a cd for the nav. That model you are looking at is $2100 at a authorized dealer. The thing about online is the whole warranty thing is iffy. I got my Kenwood for $1700 with a 5 year replacement plan. just somthin to think about...
