Emp Amp Pics
I haven't been working on my system much any more just little things here and there so i thought id post up a pic of my amp in the car since i never did... Oh look at the 2/0 from the amp to the fuse holder try getting welding cable to do that. Ps yes i know i don't have the amp hooked up to the kinetiks at the moment but im working on some stuff but ill get it reconnected soon enough

lol stop crying... honestly it looks hella better then its ever looked before (lol i took this pic so i could delete the old one where i had the fosgate)
At this point that's really about as clean as it can look. Eventually it will be behind some carpeted or fiberglassed panels and the red power wire will be gone with 2/0 going to the kinetiks under the amp in its place and so that will let me clean it up a little

they honestly dont make one quite that small.

Now that looks like a serious ******* amp
Wouldn't it be easier to remount the fuse in a different location, at least at a different angle, to eliminate the need for the 'S' bend?

All systems look like that, even the cleanest ones, have wires under the trim panels.
I think what everyone was expecting was a show ready trunk, ya know fiberglass, neons and some plexi glass but what everyone fails to realize is that once you totally finish the trunk, thats it, there is not alot of room to play after that, your kinda limited to what you can add or take away.
If you do this for a living then A-chances are you don't want to spend your time off doing it as well, and B) your always coming across something new or better, (like trading up from a Fogate to a Sundown) and always ripping something apart to put something new in or figuring out ways to make it sound better.
Besides I figure you don't want to finish it until you can come up with something that is un matched by everyone else, something that makes people stop and "damn" but you just havent figured out exactly what your going to do yet. Looks like space might be an issue. Remember that comment i made about sacrificing for the greater good,
Looks good to me but I wasn't looking at the wiring I'm still drooling over the Sundown, I wish I could hear it
I do have a question though, what made decide to face the subs forward, was it amp placement in relation to the batteries (facing them backwards would have meant having to mount the amps up at the front of the trunk) or was there someother reason. Just wondering.

When i made the comment about wanting a badass setup I was refering more to the sound rather than the look, but I hear what your saying.
(I was only kidding about the greater good comment)
Is the Kinetik battery on the other side of the box?
What model do you have, I couldn't get the 1400 so I went with a 1800 (only one they had) and I'm tring to see where I'm going to fit it. It will be here on Tuesday so I'm getting a little anxious
