A few alarm help questions!!??

Alright, so im going to be putting in a Viper 3002 2way alarm w/out remote start in my gf car here in a week or so. I have done a few alarms before no problems and installed more systems that i can count. But for somereason chevy decided to curse everyone that attempts to try and work on a cobalt. Im trying to get all the research and wiring diagrams burned into my head before i start so im not fumbeling around mid install. What relays will i need and what kind of stupid door lock resistors etc. i understand there are onboard relays and such but c'mon i know they arent gonna mak it that easy. PLease give me a list of Extra Neccesary parts i will need if any one knows!!! thanks alot!

no idea but gl... i know the cobalt has a negative start or something that makes remote starts much more difficult but i dont know if it effects the difficulty of installing a regular alarm

Get a CAN-SL2 or INT-SL from ifar.ca.

Its not worth touching without the proper modules. Extremely easy install once you have the right stuff. 3 wires for the alarm and 4 more for the autostarter.

Module?

I have done several alarms in theses along with remote starts, they are not hard if you use the right parts. If you try to skimp and go to the wires instead of using the data modules, you will not get the unit to work correctly. PM me and Ill get u the parts you need. chris
