few questions?
ok, so im not really into the whole audio thing, but i would like some upgrades.
im thinking about a basslink or other powered sub (recommend a better one if you can please)
id like to keep my cd player in the car, can i get an amp to power the speakers though?
what kind of speakers? (i was thinking alpine, kenwood, pioneer)
any other mods?

Im not a major audiophile either and I just finished putting my whole system together.
One thing I learned while doing it... Audio is just like everything else...
THERE ARE SSSSSOOOOO MANY OPTIONS !!
Whats your budget like ?
To me this is the biggest question because everything you can looked at can range from $30 - $As Much As You Got !
As far as speakers... People will recommend to you what they like... This pretty much does you no good. Everybodies ears are different.... Go to as many sound shops as you can and listen to whats out there. Listen until you find something you like thats in your price range.
You want to keep the stock headunit (im assuming thats what you mean by keeping the
cd player in the car)... If thats the case I would maybe look at something like a
JL Cleansweep... Its gonna cost you about what a good new headunit will but it really cleans up the sound. Should make it easier to setup an amp for the mids/highs and the new sub.
