few questions regarding XM and 06 ss sound system

Alot louder then the pioneers, pioneers were a clearer sound compared to the stockers but didnt have the overall volume like the stockers, the JBL's are just twice as loud and clear all around. Sounds like i have 4 tweeters in the front and a sub now, the doors actually vibrate. Good choice all around. Gonna go with these for the rear...

Alot better, didnt actually need to raise it as much on the EQ with the new speakers, the rear ones are still crackling however when you turn it up. There really isnt much in the way of EQ control though with the factory head unit. I did however figure out the XM radio, needed to cycle through the bands before it gave me my XM radio and ID code.

so once again, seems im going backwards with the sound system, installed the 6x9 jbl's, and they are just...lacking punch. I would assume the 100watts RMS is just wayyy to much for the factory amp. I assume that would be related to the fact that the sub is bridged off the 6x9's?
