Thumbs up A few shots of my new Pioneer and custom switch install....

Well iv been waitin til we got the digital camera so i could post up some pics of my new Pioneer 4000dvd unit.. its pretty sweet, i love it so far. Only this is that theres no actuall bypass CODE for it so I had to ground out a switch.. I finally had the time yesterday to drill the hole and make it a custom install.... enjoy the pics. any comments welcome, good or bad..

a few shots of my car.. it rained today so i know its dirty.. lol oh and i finally got it debadged.. it looks waaay better imo.

my sunroof... gota love it..

and finally, heres my new unit..

and heres the custom switch i used that i bought from RadioShack.. its a push on-off switch. works flawlessly.

ima be stoppin by RadioShack tomorrow to maybe buy another switch similar to the one i have right now that illuminates when its in use.. meaning it would light up red

thanks for lookin.

Yeah, my Kenwood does that too. Only I didn't need some silly switch, just ground the e-brake wire. Looks good though.

thanks for the heads up man.. maybe il just stick with the switch i have now then..

but yeah, install was actually very very simple... as long as you have all the right parts, installing it is cake.

actually, this unit NEEDS a switch.. or else it wont let me bypass it... my friend has a kenwood in his truck and with those, they just need to be grounded and itl bypass it... but mine doesnt do that..

and quit hatin on the switch, i like it and thats all that matters..

lol of course but watch out with those led buttons. the actual light often burns out pretty quickly (actual button would still work thou) and most are bright as ****
