Finally, pics of my install
Well, here's what it looks like all finished up. I'm happy with the way it came out, both looks and sounds.
Alpine CDA-9853
I drilled holes for the tweeters in the "sail" panels
Custom made by yours truly amp rack in the factory sub location. The amps are Alpine V12 MRV-F345 for the comps/6x9s and MRD-M605 for the sub.
What do you guys think?
Jamie

Very nice, I sure that sounds awsome...clean is the most important thing though, you can never go wrong with clean..
What wiring harness did you use? did you have to use an antenna adapter? did you have to relocate your factory head unit?
Just curious because I'm about set to install my system and I wanted to make sure on these things.

Looks good, and I bet it sounds even better!! Those RCA's look familiar, Are those KnuKonceptz?
Just out of curiosity what are your crossovers set at (LPF & HPF) How are the rattles?
I went with alpine stuff as well for my camaro.
You can check my setup out here

Yeah, the RCA's are KnuKonceptz. I don't particularly care for the big metal ends on them - makes them hard to plug in because the heads actually touch each other, its a tight fit.
I have both the LPF and HPF at around 80 Hz. Probably will still need to turn some knobs but I just set them there as a good starting poing for now.
The rattles from inside the car aren't bad at all. Not sure about outside. Keep in mind I prefer a more balanced, clean sound as opposed to earth shattering bass, and I listen to a lot of rock as opposed to more bassy hip hop crap. The volume goes louder then I want to drive around and listen to it at (imagine that) while still sounding very clean.

Crutchfield doesn't have the best prices (I bought all the other stuff elsewhere) but when you consider the fact that they throw in the dash kit, wiring harness, and antenna for free (and of course you get the full factory warranty) it's a really good deal.
