FM Modulator problems
I connected an FM Modulator a few weeks back, and now my iPod works great. Last week I finally decided to listen to the radio, and it was only static on most channels. So this weekend I took everything apart, and found that everything was connected okay. So I disconnected the transmitter and the radio sounds good. Then I connected the radio to the antenna through just the antenna adapters, and I was not able to get any good sound, but better than through the transmitter. Has anyone else had issues with using the antenna adapters or with a transmitter?

I have static even when the modulator is out of the system. I have static through just the antenna adapters, and it gets even worse when I put the modulator in.

I dont have any more adapters to try out. The adapters are to go from the small GM-style connector to the normal connector everyone else uses, and then back again, since nobody sells an FM modulator that works with the GM radios

Well I decided to check the antenna adapters for continuity for ***** and grins, and lo and behold, there was like 4 Meg Ohms of resistance on one of the brand new Best Buy adapters. One new adapter later, she works like a champ. Now I can put my dash plastic back on.
