As far as DD's being expensive. No they are not and even their 8 inch subs will put out some damn impressive #'s. It is worth traveling 60 miles to hear the DDs if they have them hooked up. I promise you that you will be impressed. Their subs can take massive amounts of abuse and a lot more power than they are rated for. most of their subs maximum wattage is where the subs are just starting to be happy. Theres a guy here in mo that has a dodge ram 1500 3 dd 8 1508s and has been clamped at an actual 1200 watts and consistently pulled 145db in that truck. Its still a conservative setup and the 8s can still handle more. The owner of Mach1 here in stl burps a set of DD 15s at 3000 watts apiece and competes in the 160db range in the unlimited class.
I want to say they are 3515s but im not sure. (he used a 3rd order style tube for the subs)

we just got a shipment of hertz subs... they sound great, accurate and loud, and dont have a bottoming out sound either.
AND FOR SQUARE SUBS...
Why do you not think they make door speakers square?
Because they cannot reproduce clarity and voices on a level that a round speaker can. Kicker and mtx has the worst SQ out but they are loud (loud only) hence why people who dont know anything about speakers say they are the best. Oh and if your looking to get a mtx or kicker... magnents and tinsel leads come off and apart, shop that sells these things say "their subs and product is ****"
