I had the free trial when the car was new and loved it.
I couldn't afford to keep it so it ran out and I was happy with my iPod and my iTunes.
The other day I accidentally hit an old preset and BAM I have XM channels. Not one or two but a lot of channels. Anyone else know about this or have this happen to them?

Same, I loved the trial.
XM is stupid expensive for what it is. I'm not in my car for long amounts to justify its cost.

they have random times where they turn it back on for like a month or something. i get things in the mail that say when its gonna happen

I'm pretty sure I got mail stating a free trial period was going on.

I did sign up;
but I signed up for lifetime (which at the time wasn't offered in Canada) through XM-USA;
So XM-Canada keeps sending me stuff trying to get me to sign up...

I did look recently, lifetime subscriptions went WAYYYYYY up too...

I would personally love to have something like this;

My brother bought a Sirius reciever shortly after it came out;
his has the ability to record who-knows-how-many hours of programming, and frankly that thing is the pimp...

when he bought it, there was a sale on lifetime subscriptions, and he was given complimentary access to their streaming signals...

I have an 06 so no Aux port for me. I love XM. I think it's worth the $$. I can't listen to normal radio anymore the quality and quantity of channels just isn't there.

I've got a 3 month free trial I got through my work. Only thing I'll really miss on it when it runs out is the Jason Ellis show on faction.
