FS: Full cobalt custom enclosure with subs and amp
Ok guys i had a custom eclosure built for my 06 ss/sc but i am going for something new. So what I have for sale is a full custom subwoofer enclosure with custom wrpapped trim pieces with (2) Boston Acoustic G3 12's rated at 375rms per sub so 750watts rms combined. (1) Boston Acoustic GT24 amp rated at 900 watts rms. It sounds amazing!!! but this is just a test to see if anyone is interested and if I see that some people are interested ill get some detailed pics to you and feel free to ask me any questions. There is no other system like this i promise. All work done by Audiowaves in Lake City, FL feel free to call them with any questions as well ask for Kyle (386)-755-2800 thanks guys look forward from hearing from you.
Boston G3 subs - $750
Boston GT24 - $600
Custom built enclosure - $800
The system fires forward into the car not the trunk so no trunk rattles and a lot of bass. Behind the seat, the enclosure is flush mounted and the trim piece is wrapped in black carbon fiber like weave it looks SWEET

I have a question, how are selling the G3's for $750, when they retail for $299 a piece?
And the GT24 for $600 when it retails for $300

its possible for no rattles in the trunk without dynamat or similar product but it would need to be sealed air tight
How would you go about doing that?
Turning the whole trunk into a box?
I tried mono-foam in on of my other cars once but it caused more rattles or should I say squeaks, the foam started to squeak after a while.
I had a friend give me an idea of running the ports on the box up through the back deck lid so all the air movement bounces of the back window and comes forward, plus bypasses the the deck lid cutting back the vibration. It worked in a civic but it was a hatchback so... Have you ever tried anything like this or do you think its even feesable?

Actually thats what my build should eventually have but im having a few bumps getting it all setup and done. 6" ports thru the 6X9 holes in the back....
anyway you dont have to turn the whole box into the trunk but you must prevent air from going to the trunk itself. Your box should cover most of the trunk opening then you would build Face plate or whatever and silicone or fiberglass it so its airtight. Then you would need to close up as many gaps as you can in the rear deck

Yeah im not selling this system anymore BUT yes he is right you can have no rattles if you guys know your **** about sealing a box. The box is fiberglassed sealed so all sound comes directly into the cab there is absolutely no leaks. The ports are dual slotted firing behind the backseats usually just keep them down so it sounds better. And also yes I do have a little dynamat in the trunk but not a full trunk kit.
