Grounding help

i just put an amp and two 12' subs in my cobalt and i am wondering if n e one has already done their system and knows of a good place to ground the wire on?

with the bat being in the trunk i would just use the bat ground

shouldn't hurt it but if u want u can hook it up to some thing that is hooked to the fame of the car like bolt that used on the seat belts, buts its going to be a floating ground

I just grounded to one of the bolts in the trunk botom near the front!

thanks, ill prob. just use the battery then, i was just worried that the car is gunna catch on fire or sumthin like that.

just the arc the + and the - and u should be fine

i had mine on the batt but it left the neg cable loose so it came off one day i moved to to another spot not far from it on the metal piece for the battery strap
