H/U Question
Hey guys first time for me here. Had a quick question with changing the unit. I have a Panasonic in dash dvd, when in my old car the screen would auto open when i started the car and auto close when i shut the car off. I installed the deck in my Cobalt yesterday with the help of the forums here(awesome info) but the screen will auto open when I start the car but wont auto close when I shut the car off i have to do it manually. Just wondering if anyone had the same prblem or any suggestions on what it may be,
Thanks guys!!
Thanks guys!!

Are you positive that you wired the power and accessory wires right. They would prevent the screen from closing if the head unit still isnt recieving power to close the screen.

I tapped into the sunroof fuse using a fuse tap that came with the harness. I read that is ok but please advise if that is wrong but thanks again for the reply.

The sunroof fuse is fine but what I was saying is there is usually a yellow line on a stereo and then a red line that I believe usually says ACC if your mix those 2 lines up it will cut the power to the unit instead of sending it a signal for it to turn of but still have power to be able to close the screen.

The wire that comes from the sunroof should be the ACC wire and the wire from the harness should be the yellow 12v I believe.
But technicaly if your head unit is keeping its memory then I doubt you crossed the wires but its something to look at
