My bitchin setup....

Am I the only one on the forums that use their cobalt as a work related car? Lol, that pic was actually taken on a clean trunk day too, no window parts or extra tools.

I'm going to use vinyl like my old setup

Red and black

The subwoofer walls are going to be red, and the floor and back wall are going to be black

I'm just waiting for the last box to get finished, which should be by the end of the week

I know what he has in his car.
I also know what alternator that car comes with you would be luky to get 1200 watts rms
out of a 105 amp alt dah.
105 amps = 30 for the car to run lights ect loss from engine to trunk around 5 to 10 more
does he have a amp for his highs thers another 40 amps minimal .
World record is 181 by kinetic with 24 12's and 10000 watts rms.

i was told putting subs across from each other kind of singles each other out due to the fact it doesnt have enough time for the sound waves to bounce. Since the sound then will travel a quarter of a wavelength to go there and back. As your trunk is so small, rather a home theatre is different in which the subs should be placed facing each other since you will be between them. Placing subs opposite each other will often cause cancellations at certain frequencies.

how about the cerwin vega strokers or the race track shaped sub from boston acustics
the spg-555 only take one cubic foot and is less that half the wieght .
Iheard the spg at a dealer put next to a w7 12 in a high out put box with the same power
switching back and fourth and i could not tell a differance plus the spg has a voice coil that changes in about 3 minutes all at cruchfield new coils are 60
