very nice. i almost went with type x's. i found a place that carried them online. ughhh i wen with kicker instead. 2 L5's 12's. with an 1800watt audiobahn amp...1200x1 at 2ohm. Its sooo loud, I need massive amounts of dynomat. My subs aren't even running at full potential. They are severely under-powered. but its cool, no strobe effect on the head lights. haha. very clean though. also, eclipse makes a very nice head unit. top of the line, for half the price. FTW. i love the setup, it soo nice. and bright!

Yeah. That pink wire you see is for my high level converter. Once I got my deck installed, I removed it.

i heard that all sound dead-enders work the best if its put in one piece, i'm looking at the rear deck and it looks like it will be pretty hard to put it in as one piece, and also should I do the top and bottum of the rear deck?

vibration mats like second skin damp pro or dynamat extreme do not need to be in one piece but sound deadening barriers like second skin lux liner do.

well the point of doing any vibration dampener is to reduce or eliminate movement along the piece its on.... example the reason you get alot of exhast noise is because the noise itself will vibrate the sheet metal on the bottom of the car... when this moves it creates a sound much like a drum or cymbal but since its not tuned it creates noise.... what a vibration mat does is have a soft layer of material (usually butly or asphalt) covered by a stiff layer (usually aluminum but on some cheaper products like edead, plastic) This helps in 2 ways... adds mass to the sheet metal makign it less likely to move in the first place and the most important is the soft layer inbetween the 2 stiff layers (one being the sheet metal) will take what movement it gets and change it into a small mount of heat causing the movement to either reduce or stop... FYI all sound deadeners and even roofing products used as soudn deadeners will add mass but usually only the better butly rubber will do a good job at stopping the movement
