Halo style headlight install question.

So, my 2006 Cobalt got hit, and while replacing the hood, and fixing the bumper, etc etc etc I decided that i wanted a new set of lights. Now, I like these lights and bought them,

But the problem is they came with no paperwork. I was told to wire the LED's into the clearance lights if i want, but what about the Halo Rings?

This is one of the first real mods to my Cobalt ( a 2006LT2 with 67,000 miles) and so having never looked at the wiring before I am a little confused.

Anyone else install these style lights before and can offer advice?

Okay, so the wires for the leds at the bottom are white and black ( white to brown, black to black on the clearance light wiring, yes?) And the Halos sseem to be two sets of red and black wires. Where do I splice those into / am I correct in thinking how I am for the LED's?

Thanks alot guys! Got them installed in about half an hour today ( its real easy to install the lights if you remove the 4 upper grill clips) They look great. I will try to get some photos after the car comes back from the body shop.

Just search for Chevy Cobalt headlights. Chrome and black versions like these will come up.

Thats how he explained to have have them run, When the DTRL or on the Halos are not but when the headlights come on they do too.

I paid $130.00 plus $40.00 shiping (Canada) for mine, and Ebay was the only place I could find them.
The only problem I have now is getting a H1 HID bulb, the HID kit I had was a 9007 kit and the new lights came with H1's. Once you have HID's you can't do back, I can't see a damn thing, lucky for me I put in Piaa foglights that are blinding so it works.

Do you think I will just be able to swap the bulbs or do I have to order a whole new kit, I have the 6000k kit with Philips Balast, if I go oh well its worth it, they look good now but with the HID's it should be sick.

cobaltspeced- Could you post a picture with a better shot of them stripes, are they paint or stickers, and how much did they run you? I looked through your images but theres no full car shot in there

That pic I put up was done right after I put them in so heres a better one...Oh alright I'm just a ***** and wanted to slap up a better pic, so shoot me
