Halos Please Help

Halos Please Help

A buddy of mine got a set of halos yesterday, they were the 1st gen ones.
we installed them today fallowing the how to do guide.
but for some reason the halos wont turn on.
i did all the whites together, and attached to the brown, and all the blacks and attched to the black.
any ideas?

i cant think of any reason if he bought them new and connected all the wires poperly, did he use a toggle switch to power the halos or are they wired to the park lights

i fallows the how to do on the fourms where you cut into the harness and use the brown and black wires from that

i dont know then i did all my wiring my self to a toggle switch so i didnt use the how to not sure what you might have done wrong, do you know anything about electrical wiring

yea, my father is an electrican and i been working along side of him sense i was little...
when you did yours did you run a wire off the ijnition for power?

so did you all just run the black to a ground on the fender or something, and the white to inside the cab to the toggel switch.

yeah thats what i did and just ran the power wire to the battery
