I think he means let it ride a out a little instead of bumping your thread every hour.

Anyways, all I can tell you (from my limited experience) is that most head untis don't have XM built into them, just the ability to use it. We put a really nice deck in my buddies Tiburon (give him a break, he sold the car after like 6 months). I believe it was Pioneer, and then he had to buy an extra "box" for the satellite radio that got hidden up under the dash.

I don't know what you mean about H.D. radio. I know what it is, but I think any FM reciever (or AM for that matter) will recieve and playback HD...I think it just has to do with the cleanliness of the signal.

Anyways, hope this at least got you started. If you swing by a mobile audio joint they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

BTW - Why do you want to replace the factory deck?

HD radio is a new thing that is out, you have to have a special radio to get HD radio, it is different from FM, it is a totally different signal

btw i would recommend installing new speakers amps ect if you want quality... im sure hd radio is the **** or we but stock speakers wont do anything for you.... also how hardcore are you in terms of quality... i can almost garantee that you can get way better quality with a cd/dvd and good setup then hd... but it will cost ya for quality no matter which way you go

I don't think HD radio is any different of a signal, it's just cleaner. We have a few stations here that broadcast in HD and I don't need a specific tuner to get it, and they don't advertise running a seperste HD frequency.

I would talk to an audio shop because I really don't think you need a special reciever to get HD signals.

And BTW - The factory 7-speaker Pioneer system is pretty damned good. The only thing I don't like is I wish it had a more advanced EQ.
