I had a question about my headlights. Today my driver headlight went out, but the high beam still works. Do I need a new bulb or is there something wrong with my wires? I have never had any problems with my Cobalt. I know this is a dumb question, but I still need help. Thank you.

Most likely you need a new bulb, i dont think wiring has anything to do with it... Purchase another bulb and hopefully that should do it!!

that is what i figured but was confussed on why the highs are working but not the low. Must find time to buy another i guess. thanks

I concur. I think it's the bulb.

the bulbs are dual filiments (i don't think thats how its spelled but oh well) so one can go leaving the other working fine and other times both of them go at the same time.
