a heads up
not too sure if anybody with a cobalt ss/sc with pioneer + sub caught on to this. (not sure if this applys with other cobalt models)
when wiring in an aftermarket head unit, the stock amp will turn on when the radio is turned on in RADIO MODE....ofcourse....you will get sound, however, when the head unit is switched to CD player or DVD player, the stock amp will turn off giving u picture...but ofcourse no sound....well...such a n00b that i am...took me a good couple of hours to figure that out. so finally i wired the stock amp to turn back on when switching to cd or dvd player.
if you already knew this then your the man ;x
k bye.

EDIT: As Raven pointed out, I said it backwards. The solid blue wire is the power antenna wire which is hot when the tuner is selected. The blue and white wire is the remote wire and is hot anytime the deck is on. Sorry for the confusion.

the blue/white is AMP-ON
blue is power antenna
