If I were you I'd save up a bit more cash. There are all kinds of hidden costs that pop up when doing your system and if you want to get all that for 700 then your going to be getting cheap **** that will blow on you in a couple months. Or just get the HU, fronts and an amp to run the fronts, wait till you have more cash to get the subs and sub amp

The wiring alone in my system was more than that

I would recommend shopping on the internet to find your best deals! Sometimes you can get lucky and get some really good deals but its just a matter of searching. That price range will be hard to get everything that you are wanting though. I would recommend by starting off with a nice head unit with 2 sets of rca outputs and one with a sub output and go ahead and run them to the back when you get it installed. I would then upgrade your door speakers and 6 x 9's if you have enough money after the head unit install. Then I would get a 4 channel amp to run those speakers next and then finally get the subs and amp last. It will add up though even if you get some good deals. Good luck ;0)

Sorry I seem to forget the US-Canada difference in price, things are more expessive here.
Even if you order from Ebay or the Internet in general by the time you pay the outragous shipping charges and then the custom fee's then its not really that much of a deal

for that money just get one nice sub and a nice amp... then when you have more money replace the speakers inside the car, and then with even more money replace the head unit.

nice jl audio w7 and a 1000w jl amp will do you fine no need for more then one sub, actually no need for that sub its too much for the car as it sits

haha if you were local i'd set ya right up, I'd save up and spend it all in one shot on a decent system , but if you are going for it, ebay it.. some older alpine stuff, maybe kicker.. you could get your self a wicked system with some older model stuff
seriously though if you skip out on the front and rear speakers, just put an amp to them, and put the most of the money into a good HU and sub/amp ... the stock speakers don't sound super bad when you put some power to em

i would check out crutchfield.com they usually have good deals on package stuff or buy one get one free or half off just depending on what your looking for plus they usually hook you up with stuff that you would have to pay for somewhere else like mounting kits and speaker mounting brackets plus they are a reputable companie so if you try to return somthing they usually won`t give a bunch of hassel.

if you have the stock pioneer sytem i would keep it for a little while. its not that bad compared to most other stock ystems. IDK what came in my subie (harmon kardon came in the 09 but not 08s) but the system sucks. my 07 ss/na was not great but was acceptable for a 20k car w/ standard system. my aftermarket preference has always been alpine and their products never let me down. i will be putting apline HU , speakers, subs, and amp in my subie in a year or two after i blow the stock system

i have 2 6.5 type r's, 2 6x9 type r's, and a pdx-4.100 amp, which is rated at like 130, i push about 85 solely because if i turned it up more the speakers in doors sound like they hit the door

they can run 100 watts rms...

^ Plus the only thing you need to spend a little money on is the rca cables and you can find them at a good price if you look around. Since your battery is in the trunk you don't have to buy much power wire to run an amp like you would in most other cars.

Thats the way I'm doing it too. Wish I could do it for 700 range, lol. I'm looking about 1200 so far and thats without the HU.
