Help with HD tuner?
Hello,
I recently finished my sound system install thanks to the help from the forum members here
I installed an AVH-P4100DVD headunit accompanied by a GEX-P20HD radio tuner. What annoys me is when I go to play the radio it switches between digital and analog stations every 10-15 seconds, and that gets well... tiresome quickly.
Has anyone come across this problem? Whats weird is that when its tuned to the digital signal, the reception seems to be at full bars, then it switches back to analog et cetera.
Any solutions greatly appreciated
Thanks-

Wow! Finally someone else is experiencing the same problem as me! lol I asked this question long time ago and no one answered
But anyway, I hate when that happens too. Is sorta missing the point of having an HD receiver if your gonna have constant signal changes and the music will intermittently sound worse than standard radio. Apparently this is normal because of the constant movement of the vehicle, there will not always be an HD signal, so it switches every now and then depending on what signal is received.
I guess we'll just have to live with it

Haha!
I feel exactly the same way. If I paid like 100 bucks for a tuner what the eff is the point if I cannot listen to a digital channel. I mean if its going to keep losing digital signal and reverting back to analog I might as well of just not bought an hd radio tuner ><.
I am doing some research on the topic however, I am thinking a AM/FM signal booster would help, if there is such a thing?
Any input is greatly appreciated though
