stock sub... maby u messed with the stock wiring of the amp... speakers taking to much of the wattage from the amp so it cant deliver it to the sub.( wired in a paralell i dont think it would do that but in a series which it might be it could cause this problem.) its like you put 100( wats, x, any varable) through a series at the end there should be no more of the variable left.

100total --- front speakers(use 50)---- rear speakers( use was 25... now 45)-----sub( was 25 now 5)

not nessicarily how it works but the basics of it... simple as i can explane it :P hook the stockers back up and see if it hits harder or if ur just pickin up more of the treble from the new speakers.

Possible your new 6x9's have the phase reversed? If so, the bass from the 6x9's would (partially) cancel the bass from the sub.

Try reversing the connections at the new speakers, see if it helps.

no it wont.... i would disconnect them while its playing just to make sure you don't have the placebo effect going on

also depending on where you put the line output converter if you had those wires reversed that would effect your bass big time
