license plate, flip those things up on the rear deck(they stay up and quiet that way) and also i just figured this out few days ago.... sit in your car and crank it up and put your hand on your dome light see if that stops all the noise all together. my dome light was noisy as hell and i didnt realize thats were it came from till few days ago lol

In all seriousness though, Second Skin Damplifier - CLD Automotive Sound Deadening Vibration Mat
Get 20-40 sq. feet depending on your budget and apply to trunk lid/areas of vibration.

But removing the trunk lid is the next best option.

In my car the whole rear deck vibrates up against the rear windshield. Easily solved by cutting up an old towel and shoving it up between the carpet layer and the metal frame; if you've got money to spare you could dynamat the frame and pop some construction adhesive on the carpet.
I secured my baby-seat holders with a bit of clear silicone, I can cut it out if the gf ever gets knocked up lol.
Oh and another huge rattle I found was the little plastic grate thing on the right hand side of the trunk, I think it's theres to allow breathable air into the trunk space. Yea that got siliconed in place too.
The rear deck is the major source of noise in this car though.

If you have a sunroof make sure the slider isn't open all the way. Maybe it's just my car but if the slider is all the way open it rattles big time. If its3/4 or less open it will be fine, just don't push it to the end. This was the biggest rattle in my car.
