help speakers makin weird noises

help speakers makin weird noises

I recently installed a double din indash cd dvd didnt buy the expensive harness to keep door chimes but i got the cheap metra one works but speakers have a high pitch ringin comin outta them I thought maybe interference or bad connections so took it back apart an rewired everything but its still there whats makin this noise.

id like to know to. i also put in a double din pioneer cd dvd player with ALL the fancy harness's for the chimes and onstar and crap and my back passenger speaker is making like a humming noise.

damn i think all mine are makin it.. its not bad if you got your music loud but when its quiet its annoying as hell

if its a pioneer then the rca outputs are blown... google "pioneer pico fuse" for how to fix it.

and you are only using the harness no rca preouts? pioneer system or base?

yea just the harness on the stock pioneer system with the boss headunit i got the metra harness you said to get in the audio thread

if the ground from the harness is solid then id try adding an additional ground and see if that helps if nto then try running only that second ground and see if that does it

your probably getting ground loop which is alot harder to do and alot harder to fix when your not using rca's

nope not the ground i wired it two the harness an to the new ground an then just the radio to the new ground

Alright thanks i think i might just put the stocker in till i get a better hu this one slides down an sticks out i want one that fits flush
