Nothing new. Mine do that too, as well as everyone I know with HID's.

Get an Ipod or listen to the radio in the day.

Mine does not do this, I'm on my second kit and niether has done this (switched from low beam only in projectors to retro fits with bi-xenon kit)

It shouldn't do this, its a good sign that the wiring is not right some where

Are you using a relay wire harness or is it the plug and play?
If using a relay what are you using for a power/ground?

Plug and Play......Thats your problem right there.
You need to switch to a relay setup.
You can buy just the relay harness at 3B Spec, its worth the money.

I'll give you an example, the relay harness I have has 2 fuses on it, both being 30 amps.
If they felt they needed to put 30 amp fuses on it, those balast must be drawing alot of power. The harness has its own power and ground wire, a relay, and fuses in it. Its fairly heavy guage wire considering its for lights. (its no stereo power wire, but 10 guage wire is still big for lighting use).
Now that being said, your drawing all that power through the pinner ass stock wires that have a common ground with about 15 other things. Thats where your static is coming from.
Heres a link to the harness at 3B, it's more than worth the $15.00, plus it will save your stock wires from burning out.
