how do i wire a amp into the stock wiring harness it doesnt have rca connectors?

how do i wire a amp into the stock wiring harness it doesnt have rca connectors?

please help me i dont know what wires to wire the rca wires coming from the amp to the stock headunit because it doesnt have the plugins for them ?

usually stock heads wont have the neccesary hookups for aftermarket amps, you need a different headunit

thats not true because i just put a 10" MTX subwoofer and Alpine amp in my cobalt and i have the factory head unit. you just need to buy an RCA input adapter which shouldnt cost more than 20 dollars

find the wiring schematic on the site, get a RCA converter/adapter and splice into wires inside of trunk and you're good to go...

of course you'll need to run a remote wire up to the fuse box too

need a line converter I tapped mine from the rear speakers all it is a positve wire and negative it's very simple should take about five minutes

agreed. thats what i did. got one from circuit city. ran off back speakers. from there just hook up rca outs to your amp and do normal amp wiring. if you need a remote wire, there are a few options., i actually ran mine off the lights so when i start the car the amp comes on.
