REM is your remote turn on wire that isnt in the picture usually a thin wire this goes connected to ignition turn on source, 12v is your constant battery voltage witch the red wire with fuse holder goes fuse end to battery and the ground is your black wire

no it won't turn on without it. it needs to see battery voltage on that terminal to turn the amp on. only way that would work if you had a short wire to jump the 12v to the rem and that means your amp will be on all the time

So what your saying is i need to go buy the wire that hooks onto the REM port of the amp, ok now on the other end of that wire where do i run it to? I knoe the black and reb both go to battery, and the REM would run to where? Or do i have it all wrong?

the rem would run to ur radio.
if u have an aftermarket deck, then it should have a blue cable hanging from the back
if u have a stock radio then you would have to wire it to a fuse

its not that difficult...

1.u run ur power wire (red) to the battery, ground wire (black) to either battery or just screwed into metal

2.then u run a remote wire (REM), thin blue wire coming from the back of ur radio

3.then u run ur RCA cables to the back of the radio

steps 2and3 are if u have an aftermarket headunit (radio), if not then run the RCAs to ur line out converter and ur remote wire (REM) to a fuse
