Just wondering how good/bassy the stock supercharged pioneer 7 speaker sound system?
is it noticeable from both inside and out?

I am quite impressed. Your not going to blow any windows out, but you can feel the bass when it hits hard.
It will also vibrate the mirrors a bit when it hits hard.

I have it all stock right now and enjoy the separated tweeter/mid/bass sound alot. (I'm a rather audio buff so I will end up changing the speakers to higher end though. lol)

I replaced the stock 6x9s with 2011 type rs.. maybe later replace everything and seal up the speakers front and back. But adding some tweater from the rear made a huge difference! Awesome stereo stock though I'd say.

Lol my eclipses infinity system has more bass without having a factory sub. Honestly I was disappointed in the factory subs performance.

The stock system is neither loud nor really bassy, not compared to when you add a low powered 10" sub.

I would describe the stock system as "adequate." Not bad for the price of the car but not great by any means.

I added a digital designs 1508 8" sub getting 250rms watts and it feels like I'd wake neighbors 2 blocks away in comparison lol

I had the base 2006 system and it was alright. Unfortunately I have recently become an audiophile(have always been interested but recently obsessed) and have no clue why I left it stock for 5 years.

ya im not sure if im sad or not but its one step that you cant go back. i hope i have the cobalt for a while but im not going to get this kind of a system ever in any other car i ever own.

anytime i hear anyone elses car im just not nearly as satisfied as mine. double edged sword sadly

I just moved from my 07 ss/sc to a 02 s10 xtreme... The pioneer system may not have been amazing but goddamn I wish I had it back everday now. I will eventually get around to putting a system in but right now all my money is in motocross.

For whatever it cost as an option I wouldve preferred to have spent it on aftermarket equipement. As far as optional stereos go its really not that great.

I have had some banging stereo's in the past and I have to say the cobalt's is definitely enough. I just manually adjust the EQ and it sounds pretty freaking good. Especially because stupid ***** generally don't steal stock **** as well. I have had too many system's stolen over the years.

Maybe I'm used to nicer cars.... But even my 2000 eclipses infinity system sounds better. The cobalts sound system is all over the place sound wise. Hell that sub in the trunk even puts out less bass than my non sub equipped eclipse lol
