how to take the bulbs out of the rear view mirror.

im wonder how everyone took their bulbs out of their rear view mirror.

buy new lenses. break old ones. take out pieces, replace bulbs, install new lense

Umm I am not sure if the rear view mirror is different on an 07 or older balt but if they are the same there is no reason to break the lenses. I used a small flat head screwdriver to pop the lenses out and then (with patience) removed the bulbs. If you have big fingers, like me, this can be a pain in the ass. Take your time or find someone who has some smaller fingers.

i used a plastic panel popper tool to take off the lenses and force to bulb out. there is no need to break your lenses...

I pried my lenses off with a small screwdriver, then used a pair of curved needle nose pliers to pull them out by the base, worked like a charm

haha thats what i had to do! lol i do have to say tho. the led bulbs i got from mkulrey r really bright and loving it. oh i didnt break the lense just the bulbs. lol

Small flathead to remove the lenses. I put double sided tape on some needle nose pliers and had no problems pulling the bulbs.
