i ported the stock sub
so last night a ported the stock sub box. it sounds amazingly better. i made the tube run almost to the back so its more of a deep sound but it really takes the sound of bass coming from the door speakers witch is really nice. very simple 15 minute mod too. i made a 1 3/4 inch hole put it just to the right of the sub because there is a gap in the weaving there and ran a tube to about 1 2/3 inch from the back. really sounds good

Try here, there really cheap and should make it easier

Added- Try using some epoxy made for plastics on the inside of the flare and then some silicone around the hole inside the box.Just remember to let it sit and dry for a couple days, glue fumes do funny things to speakers.

ut oh now youve dunit (lol i had too)
FYI you there's no such thing as porting a box. a ported box should be much bigger in size then a sealed box (one of many reasons its not in a ported box to begin with) so while u can modify the sealed box and put a hole and tube in it.... its very much not recommend especially if you dont at least somewhat tune it

Who knows the tuning frequency that you just made that port? Second theres no subsonic frequency controller.
Have fun when the sub drops below the tuning frequency and over extends.
