Push button start and moved power outlet (UPDATE PICS: 56K NO)

Ok so I am putting in a push button start on my SS/SC. (Save the flaming I don't care what anyone thinks, I had it on my Mustang and loved it)
Anyway, I have everything mounted and ready to go, have power and ground to my button but I don't know which wire I need to cut to wire for the ignition. I have the directwire wiring list, which is wrong from what I can tell. I have no C4 connector. The only light grey connector I have is on the back of the BCM and has only 1 yellow wire in it. This wire has a 12v signal with the ignition in the on position and does not change when you turn the key to the start position.

I read somewhere that our PCM turns the starter when the ignition wire has 12v and the accessory wire has 0. Does that mean our ignition wire is always 12v when the car is in the on position and turning the key to the start position only removes power from the accessory wire? or am I missing a wire that gets a 12v signal only when the switch is in the start position?

Any help would be great.

Oh and I have taken pics of everything so far and will post them when I am done.

well although noone seems to be able to help me with the wiring of the ignition I have everything mounted and thought I'd post some pics.

This is the button I'm using:

It fits a "standard" cigarette lighter opening but unfortunately ours is much larger so I had to make a mounting plate to go behind the console:

I moved the power outlet down to the end of the shifter console opposite the existing one which required a new hole and some modification to the plastic underneath:

This is the finished look:

Now if I can just figure out the wiring...

i can E-Mail you PCM and Ignition switch connector pinouts if they would help. How is this going to work? It seems you will still need the key in the run position for the car to run. Why not just turn the key? Do you have a kit that eliminates the ignition switch?

No I don't have anything that eliminates the ignition switch. I want the car to stay "secure" in that it needs the key. Yes I will still have to turn the key to the run position but I am trying to find a way to disable the ignition switch's ability to start the car and require the push button to do it.

I had this same setup on my Mustang and loved it. I think I might have it figured out. The white wire in the ignition harness is for the ION style passkey. It flows 4.41v when the key is in the run position and drops to 3.63v when the key is turned to the start position. This is what the system sees as a resistance code(R-Code). If I cut that wire and find out the amperage flowing through it then I can determine the size resistor I will need in order to drop the correct amount of voltage... Ohms law R=E/I. With that I should be able to wire a relay or two so that I can cut that wire, have it connected through a relay when the accessory power is on and then have that relay disengage and connect a second output when the push button is switched. Therefore having 4.41 volts flowing in the run position but when I push the button drop it to 3.63v and trigger the starter.

I haven't tested all this yet as I am still working out the wiring but I am working on it.

If I could find out where the white wire from the ignition harness, pin 5 I think runs into the BCM that would be great. That seems to be the one piece of information I am missing. I can cut the wire in the column but it would be easier, and cleaner, to do it all behind the center console, at the BCM.

Here are the BCM connector pinouts. Sorry it's a little hard to read, when I copy info out of Service Information it isn't formated properly. hope this helps you.
