I'm new and I need helpp

I just bought my 2006 Cobalt LT and I want to put my system in it. Honest, I don't want to pay much for some company to do it, so I'm going to have someone do it for me. I just want to know what kind of wires i need, I'm not switching my deck, and honest I don't even know if it's going to work. Can someone please help me?? I don't want this guy to do it without me knowing something about it.

Thanxxx

theres a link in my sig that tells you all the part # you will need.
its easier if you changed your head unit also.

well as long as your amp has a speaker input it can be done, since the factory amp dont have rear rca you would have to use the rear speakers.

what I ment to say is you would need the rear speakers for a signal.

If all you are adding is subs and an amp it is really easy. You get a hi/lo converter and they cost like 12 bucks. Your battery is in the back so you only need short power and ground wires, and a short pair of RCAs. You can then tap the signal from the back 6x9's and plug them into the hi/lo converter and then take your RCAs from the converter out to the amp. Run a remote wire to your amp from and acc fuse in the passenger side fuse box. Then hook up your power and ground to the battery and grounding point in the spare tire well. Hook the subs up to your amp and your done.
