id be mostly worried about the atom processor, those things get slow over time very quickly similar to a celeron. Also what u got as far as ventilation for the pc, u dont have to keep ur glove box open i assume.
another thing im really worried about is it has a 5400rpm sata drive.... that has moving platters in it.. one pothole and f that head hits the platters.... bye bye information. id strongly suggest going with

its mroe money for less but the speed will be quicker and you wont have to worry about the hard drive crashing from bumps..
thats just my insight from a computer stand point... ( its what i do for work 14years of exp) other than that it seems like a great setup

I already have a blue light mouse works awesome on any surface in the car & plan on going with a bluetooth keyboard just haven't bought it yet...oh it also has a onscreen keyboard, No I dont have to keep the glove open, it vents very well, I've had it running for hours at a time & the machine barely even gets warm..the exhaust for the computer is mounted in the back which sticks out the back of the glove box, blowing any warm air into the pass side of the car away from the computer & glove box. plus it isn't like a desktop it doesn't produce much heat at all. The white grill you see in the picture is the intake!

very cool. IMO running it to the trunk and mounting it on the "roof" would be good that way u can still use the only spot we have to store **** lol u could also run a usb cable to the glove box to plug in a jump drive or whatever.. just tossing other ideas out there.. i do like the setup!

The head unit is like any standard 1, but has a usb for the touchscreen & VGA connection, It's made by Innovatek, The computer is a Innosoft G4...the 1 I have is a proto type & will be out very soon. I am helping them get all the bugs worked outat the moment, by the way I searched for a long time before I went to this one, for the power & what it comes with for $650 dollars nothing came close, in total I spent $890 with shipping for the head unit & computer...pretty sure that the final sale price will be close to the same.
also i'm a bit confused about the headunit i look on the innovatek website and theres a lot of model...how do i know wich one have the usb for the touchscreen

i just dont understand what all you can do with a CarPC... its not like your going to be typing word documents in your car or anything

I think this carPC thing is going to explode on this forum.... Last week I was flamed for spending money on a carPC setup... and this week you post one about half as powerful for 1/2 the price and people go nuts over it haha .

I'm not going to be held responsible for anybody spending tons of money after discovering the website I posted in the link above. I will give fair warning, it will get addicting, but i'm not responsible for your spending habits haha.
