Anyone have any input on this?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...2BSI%26otn%3D4

Im wondering why this second kit is the same price as the first when it doesnt have the power locks like the first one does. Just different markup? or is one kit a higher quality than the other... I dont know any aftermarket electronic companies so I dont know what name is reputable, what name is bad, and what name is just small...

Dont do power window kits most suck. Ive seen people do them and within a year need to relpace parts cuz they broke or the motor wore out. Aftermarket locks will be fine but still run the risk or failing on you. I have aftermarket power locks on mine and they work great.

Have you looked at factory window motors and parts? Those seem to hold up well.

look into finding a wrecked car with the power accessories. Factory is usually better in these instances.

the issue with this is wouldnt they need a new wiring harness for them too? and then wouldnt i need the same lock/unlock remote from that car along with the little receiver box as well?

Maybe i could do a hybrid kind of deal? Buy the cobalt factory motor/regulator and just wire that in to the kits wiring harness?

Try your hybrid iead. Just make sure you know what/where all the wires hook up.

ok, gotcha
I'll probably just get the kits, and buy the factory motors if a part ends up failing

okay, yea. I PMed him. HE doesnt make them, didnt tell me where he got the parts, and in all honesty, it looks like a typical universal kit. He described it the exact same way as the universal kits i linked to do.

Thanks for the help tho.
